Kiawah Island Home

Working with the homeowners on their home, along with my brother, Kenneth Wiland, as the architect, was a dream. The home is traditional, with defined rooms, stunning details, and millwork throughout. With the client’s vision for a warm, welcoming home to host their family and friends, we blended classic Southern style with coastal charm. “We hired Shadie as a consultant for lighting, but then ended up asking her to help decorate the whole house,” says the homeowner. “There were just so many decisions to make, and she really understood my priorities.”  The home is a blend of family antiques, new and fun fabrics, art, wallcoverings and furnishings throughout.  The homeowner wanted the space to feel like a home, not just a beach house, and that’s just want we accomplished.
