Shadie Copeland is a Charlotte-based designer specializing in high-end residential interiors and architectural lighting design. With nearly two decades of experience creating exceptional homes across the country, she brings a distinctive blend of creative vision, technical expertise, and meticulous attention to detail to every project. Known for her thoughtful use of color, texture, pattern, contrast, and light, Shadie transforms spaces into beautifully layered environments that are both timeless and deeply personal. 

A graduate of Furman University with a degree in Studio Art, Shadie pursued her passion for historic homes and lighting by earning a Master’s degree in Interior Design from Florida State University. She spent 10 years working in New York City and Denver, CO with leading residential interior design and architectural lighting firms before returning to the South with her family in 2018.

Driven by a love of design, a desire to create joyful and deeply personal spaces, and an entrepreneurial spirit, Shadie founded Shadie Copeland Interiors in 2019.

Her studio is located in Charlotte’s Myers Park neighborhood, where she lives with her husband, their two sons, and their Goldendoodle, Teddy.
