Shadie Copeland is a Charlotte-based designer, specializing in high-end residential interior design and architectural lighting design. With over a decade of experience designing and working in extraordinary homes around the country, Shadie’s creative vision and detailed approach to the design process set the groundwork for success of each of her projects. She is known for her ability to blend and transform a space through color, texture, pattern, contrast, and light.  

With a liberal arts degree in Studio Art from Furman University, Shadie channeled her love of historical homes and interest in lighting and earned a Masters Degree in Interior Design from Florida State University.  After working for many years out of New York City and Denver, Colorado, in both high-end residential interior design and architectural lighting design firms, Shadie moved back to the South in 2018 with her family.  Propelled by her passion for design, aspiration to create unique and joyful spaces, and her entrepreneurial spirit, Shadie founded Shadie Copeland Interiors in the summer of 2019.  
 

Shadie's design studio is located in Myers Park, where she lives with her husband, their two sons and their golden doodle.
